Filhos do Céu, fighting against hunger, violence, and poverty for 14 years.

It all began in 2009 when Anita started preparing meals for the children. She and a group of friends felt the need to find a safe space to shelter the children during the day. That's when Filhos do Céu was created, with the aim of improving the perspective and quality of life for children and adolescents who spent their days at São Pedro Square.

Currently, we offer academic support, sports, educational workshops, and recreational activities, as well as meals during after-school hours. Every day, we welcome over 180 children aged 1 to 17 years old. At the moment, less than half of them have sponsors.

It is crucial to have an association like Filhos do Céu, which provides activities such as theater, dance, capoeira, sports, academic support, meals, among other things, to over 200 at-risk children and adolescents.
